Fighting for Your Rights Since 2005
Neil Roy was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He obtained his undergraduate degree from nationally ranked Georgetown University, located in Washington D.C. His first job after graduating from college was at the prestigious Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, where he worked for two years before turning his attention to the law.
Neil went to law school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, graduating in 2005 with a desire to continue the work he did there focusing on public service. So upon graduation, Neil moved to Louisville, KY, and began his career with the Louisville-Jefferson County Public Defender, a nonprofit organization providing zealous advocacy for indigent adults and juveniles accused of crimes. While employed there, Neil litigated hundreds of cases each year, including numerous jury trials, obtaining excellent results for his clients.
In 2009, Neil went into private practice, starting the Roy Law Office. His practice focuses on criminal defense and personal injury cases. Louisville Magazine recently named Neil a “Top Lawyer” in its March 2014 and 2016 issue in the categories of Criminal Defense, DUI, and Juvenile Law.
